Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of handazzled.com and any custom embellishment services provided by The Crump Collective LLC, doing business as Handazzled ("Handazzled," "we," "us"). By submitting a quote request or sending us an item, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

Handazzled provides custom, hand-applied rhinestone and crystal embellishment on items supplied by you ("Customer Items"). Services are performed on a mail-in basis unless we agree otherwise in writing.

2. Quotes and orders

Submitting a quote request is free and does not obligate either party. A quote is an estimate, not a contract, until you accept it in writing (email is sufficient) and any required deposit is received. Quotes may expire and may change if the scope, materials, or design change. Prices, stone types, and estimated turnaround will be stated in your quote.

3. Payment

Larger or custom projects may require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due before return shipment. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. Applicable sales tax is added to payments where required, at the rate in effect when your payment link is created. Custom work is personalized to you, so deposits may be non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has started, except where required by law or as we agree in writing.

4. Your items, shipping, and risk

• You are responsible for packing your item securely and for insuring it in transit to us. We recommend tracked, insured shipping.
• You confirm that you own the item or have authority to alter it, and that you have disclosed any known defects, damage, or special handling needs.
• Embellishment involves adhesives, drilling-free surface work, and physical handling. Items with fragile, porous, heat-sensitive, coated, or delicate finishes may be damaged or discolored by the process. We will tell you if we see an obvious risk, but we cannot always predict how a surface will react. You accept that some risk of cosmetic damage or alteration is inherent, and you release Handazzled from claims for damage that results from the nature, condition, or finish of the item or from the embellishment process performed with reasonable care.
• We may decline or stop any job we believe is unsafe or unlikely to succeed and will return the item, less any agreed costs already incurred.
• We do not embellish safety equipment such as helmets or protective gear.
• Return shipping is insured and tracked. Once carrier delivery is confirmed, risk of loss passes to you, except for carrier claims we agree to help you file.
• Items left unclaimed more than 90 days after we notify you that they are ready may be treated as abandoned after reasonable attempts to contact you.

5. Care and durability

Embellished items are decorative. Stones can loosen or fall off with impact, abrasion, moisture, heat, or improper cleaning. Follow the care notes we provide (generally: spot-clean gently, no dishwasher, no soaking, no extreme heat). We are not responsible for wear resulting from use, misuse, or improper care. Small items such as loose stones are choking hazards; keep them away from children and pets.

6. Designs, fandom work, and intellectual property

We are happy to recreate logos, symbols, and fan designs on your personal items. You represent that your request does not infringe anyone's rights and that you will use the finished piece for personal, non-commercial purposes. We do not produce merchandise for resale using third-party trademarks or artwork. Original designs we create remain our intellectual property; you receive ownership of the physical finished item. We may photograph finished work for our portfolio and social media unless you ask us not to in writing before we begin.

7. Turnaround

Turnaround times are estimates and depend on complexity, materials availability, and our queue. Delays do not entitle you to a refund unless we agree otherwise in writing.

8. Website use

Do not misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt or probe it, no automated scraping or spam submissions, no unlawful use. We may block access or delete submissions that violate these rules.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Handazzled's total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific job giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not affect the value you may claim for a Customer Item if a court finds it was lost or destroyed through our gross negligence.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, both sides agree to try to resolve the issue informally by contacting the other in good faith for at least 30 days.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version posted on this page on the date of your request applies to that request.
